We are more than just Bible class...Kids for Christ is devoted to training
children to walk with God. With an emphasis on Bible study and service,
children are considered a vital part of the community of faith at Lamar
Avenue. A wide variety of activities are offered for children and their
families, stressing family unity, service to the church and community, Bible
study, and just plain fun. Teaching is centered around the bible at all times,
stressing the importance of making God first priority in life, spending time
with Him and boldly sharing our faith with others.

Where do parents fit in?
At Lamar Avenue, we are devoted to equipping and encouraging parents
to be the primary spiritual leaders in children's lives. We are here to
assist you in your journey of impressing God's Word on your child's
heart as instructed in Deuteronomy 6. Parents are always invited and
welcome to participate alongside their children in Kids for Christ events.

          Schedule of Children's Classes
Sunday:
9 A.M        Age specific Bible classes (Nursery - 5th grade)

10 A.M      Worship
(Children's Worship is offered for 2 years through
Pre-Kindergarten on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of
each month )

6 P.M.         J.A.M. 45 - 4th & 5th graders
KFC J.A.M. - 4 years through 3rd grade"
Junior J.A.M. - 2 and 3 year-olds
("J.A.M." - "Jesus and Me"")
Wednesday:

7-8 P.M. - Bible classes:

Nursery                                K/1st Grade
2 year olds                        2nd/3rd Grade
3 year-olds                        4/5th Grade
